Radical Evangelism

We are already seeing amazing breakthroughs for Christ up and down I-35. Joe Oden, our Evangelism Coordinator, is in the process of leading several evangelism outreaches all over the I-35 corridor. If you or your church is interested in helping spread the light of our Lord, please contact Evangelist Joe Oden at 251-458-8761.

Evangelism Outreaches:

Oct. 12-14: Laredo First Assembly, TX - Pastor Oscar Sacriste

On October 12-14 Evangelist Joe Oden traveled to Laredo, TX to coordinate an effort of street and neighborhood evangelism. However, far more than evangelism took place.

On Saturday, over 80 people from First A/G in Laredo gathered together, and after some training they went out into the community to present the gospel and invite people to attend the church service on Sunday.

On Sunday, God’s Spirit moved mightily including a number of healings. The presence of God was so strong that they were not even able to have their normal two services. Instead, they simply flowed with God from 9am until about 2 in the afternoon. The greatest thing about the Sunday service was the nearly 100 salvations that occurred.

Oct. 26-28: Living Word, Rockwall, TX - Pastor Sergio Nava

Nov. 2-4: House of Prayer, Laredo, TX - Pastor Julio Patino

I'm thankful to say, that the I-35 radical evangelism and purity sieges have been a tremendous success. We have had the privilege to partner with four cites to promote the I-35 Highway of Holiness in Laredo, Austin, Garland and Dallas. When we took on this responsibility, we believed that God would move greatly in these cities.

In Laredo, TX we saw the power of God take a church and turn it inside out. People were healed from illness, set free from depression, drug addiction, and filled with the Holy Spirit during these services. We had about 75-80 church members show up Saturday morning to do door-to-door evangelism in their city. It was such a success the pastor asked his church to do it again the next week. Reports have come back that the Church (Laredo first Assembly of God) is still in revival.

The next church we partnered with was Living Word in Garland, TX. During the Friday night revival service the heart of intercession moved upon several young girls, and then it hit the whole church. When the service ended, we took about 25 of those members including the Pastor and the Executive Pastor to Cedar Springs in Dallas where hundreds of homosexuals meet to celebrate their sin. There we lifted up Jesus and saw people touched by His presence as they walked by.

We went back to Laredo to work along side another church. There we saw the altars packed with 100-150 people wanting to get right with God and give their lives to Jesus. Saturday we mobilized about 50 church members to do door-to-door evangelism. Then we sent them two by two. A group of students from Heartland School of Ministry went to intercede by the Rio Grande when suddenly the spirit of intercession and the power of God flooded their hearts for Laredo. They stood under the first I-35 sign in America and prayed for a move of God along I-35.

Next was our recent trip to Austin. Some of the students did not know what to expect knowing that it is the party capital of Texas. The entire event was indescribable. During the Friday night service the power of God came down in a tangible way. Demons were manifesting when at the same time a spirit of praise set people free from mediocrity. There were about 35-50 people at the altar to get right with God. After that service we took about 60 young adults to the epicenter of sin and drunkenness in downtown Austin. There was such a tremendous flow of the Spirit! Sinners were repenting, drunkards were sobered up, and back sliders were encouraged to get right with God. Everyone who participated said it was "life changing." The Kingdom of God is being tremendously advanced all throughout the I-35 corridor.

Week after week in Dallas, TX through Heartland World Ministries Church we have been seiging the Oak Lawn area in Cedar Springs. We believe that over a period of time and with a weekly focus God will break in. We have seen homosexuals hit by the power of God, saved, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Through the I-35 radical evangelism and purity sieges, we are beginning to see what Joel prophesied about. If you or your church would like training in evangelism followed with practical evangelism please contact me at joe@joeodenministries.com
